House and Disco Samples in Rap

Does anyone have other favorite genres other than rap music? Music that you derive beats of samples from?

I like listening to old house and disco music- I love picking up samples that other artists have pull- like doing a double take with me ears. "I had no idea that was even a sample until I hear this!"

I am blanking on examples.
