Starin through my rear view - Does he say scream to God he "CAN" or "CAN'T" hear you?

I know most lyrics say Can't, but lyrics can also be wrong and i've found out that many of these are just copied for eachother.

I think it's hard to hear what he says, and i just can't see how it fits in the song if he says "Can't" as he refers to God as "Heavenly father" and in the end he also says that if we put our mind into something we can do it.

I don't really know..

What do you guys hear when you listen to the song?

He explains "starin at the world through my rear view" meaning that

he understands the "rules" of the game, and the world is not a trick, but a game to be played. When you figured this out, you can do whatever you want.

So why would he say he figured things out etc, and then go on baby scream to God, he CAN'T hear you?
