Age: 25 | Three 6 Mafia "Doe Boy Fresh"....thoughts? What do y'all think of this Three 6 Mafia joint, "Doe Boy Fresh"? I'm askin cuz I was having an argument with my boy about it...he said that this song is just an example of how Three 6 is sellin out after getting the Oscar and how Crunchy Black leaving messed them up. But I thought the song was dope as hell...I thought it really captured what Three 6 was all about, that they all murdered their verses, the beat was ridiculous, and that Chamillionaire did his thing too
What do y'all think? | | |

Yeah, it was sorta weird, that's sort of why I liked it...the beat was a little different from what they normally do, but I thought that it still had elements of classic Three 6 Mafia music, ya know....but yeah, if the album keeps in this vein - the same thing they've been doing, but with a new twist to it - then they're in good shape

Beat isnt anything special, and verses are weak as fuck. What the hell is everyone else listening to ? |

What do y'all think? |
typical pathetic pop music
nothing special about the beat. three 6 mafia sucks, so does chamillionaire. none of their shit does anything for me. it's just weak inside and out. | Stop asking stupid, obvious questions and just use [Only Registered Users Can See Links. See, I think the south is unjustifiably hated on. Truth be told, the south has really kept the lights on in hip-hop for the past five years, cuz they've been the only area that's been consistently pumping out new material and new artists, while other regions have been slacking. The Midwest is catching up now, but for the most part, the South have been all that's really good in hip-hop recently. Plus, the south has some of the best rappers, both historically and now: Scarface and Geto Boys, Outkast, Devin the Dude, Goodie Mob, 8Ball & MJG, etc. And artists from other areas are always trying to emulate the south - you never see it work the other way around, with southern artists dickriding. Three 6 is a great example of southern artists who have stayed true to themselves and have still captured mainstream success
