I watched the movie Notorious and P Diddy pretty much says he discovered Tupac, I don"t think thats true help

Shakur began attending the poetry classes of Leila Steinberg in 1989.[16] In 1989, Steinberg organized a concert with Shakur's former group, Strictly Dope. The concert lead to him being signed with Atron Gregory who set him up with the up-and-coming rap group Digital Underground. In 1990, he was hired as the band's backup dancer and roadie.

Shakur's professional entertainment career began in the early 1990s, when he debuted his rapping skills on "Same Song" from the Digital Underground album This is an EP Release. He first appeared in the music video for "Same Song". After his rap debut, Shakur performed with Digital Underground again on the album Sons Of The P. Later, he released his first solo album, 2Pacalypse Now. Initially he had trouble marketing his solo debut, but Interscope Records' executives Ted Field and Tom Whalley eventually agreed to distribute the record.

Japan Tour, The Budwieser Superfest, The Public Enemy Tour, and the Heavy-D & the Boys Tour including Pacs’ reaction to losing his close tour pal “T-Roy” (R.I.P.), as well as the juicy details of his dramatic freestyle sessions with his girl YoYo, Flava-Flav, MC Serch, Ed Lover, and many others; I was on the piano at all of them.
The book will chronical my 6 years, 4 tours, 19 studio sessions, 7 video shoots, 13 house parties, 2 courtroom cases, 5 basketball games, 3 streetfights, 4 arrests/police run-ins, dozens of tag-team girl trade-off experiences inwhich I was side by side with Tupac, and what it was like to record the young genius in the early years of his career, a time that he himself called the best time of his life.
An oral/DVD version will also be available for those who prefer to just hear me/watch me tell it.
